| @ISTT Membership is annually based, from January through December. Therefore, irrespective of the date of registration within the year, all annual memberships will terminate on December 31st, and renewal will be requested starting next January 1st, until March 31st, of the following year. |
| *Applicants for Technician/Student status must complete the PROOF-OF-STATUS form (PDF, WORD files) and send it to the ISTT via post, fax or, preferred, by email to ISTT |
| *A Technician/Student Member is someone who is working under the responsibility of another person, and thus is not responsible for a laboratory/service/unit, and who is either executing routine and/or specialised techniques or is pursuing a PhD or other degree. Note that Postdoctoral scientists are not eligible for Technician/Student membership. For those 2009 technician/student ISTT members willing to renew their 2010 ISTT Membership we only require an email sent to ISTT from their supervisor confirming that their labour situation remains the same and therefore they still qualify in 2010 as technician/student members. |
| #Commercial organizations that wish to be associated with the ISTT may appoint one individual to represent them in the ISTT; this person will be a Corporate Member. Only one person from any organization may be a corporate member. Any other people from a commercial organization should apply as Technician/Student or Ordinary members, as appropriate. For all effects and purposes, corporate members shall have the same representational capacity as any ordinary or technician/student members of the Society. |
